The following part-time positions are open until filled:
Part-Time Child Development Center Aide needed for weekday shifts, between 12-20 hours per week. Responsibilities include assisting with programs and activities for the child development center for infants and preschoolers, under the direction of the Children’s Ministry Director.
Applicants must be must be at least 16 years of age; able to provide evidence of completing approved continued training at the rate of at least 6 clock hours per full-year of employment as an aide; and be medically cleared by physician as required by the Maryland State Department of Education Employment Medical Report. Some experience working with infants and preschoolers and a valid driver’s license are preferred. Knowledge and skill set include the ability to provide a nurturing enviroment for children and the ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
Part-Time and On-Call Residential Assistants needed for a Friday evening shift, 5-9pm, and for as-needed hours other evenings and weekend from 8am to 9pm. Responsibilities include ensuring the safety of the residents and facilities and the implementation of the program schedule and continuity of services.
Applicants must be 19 years of age; have a high school diploma or equivalent; and a valid driver’s license. Experience in residential setting preferred.
Responsibilities include for the development and management of all children’s programming for children from six weeks through 17 years of age. Hope Alive’s children’s program includes licensed childcare center for infant through preschooler as well as after-school and a full-time summer program for school-age children to enhance resident children and family development.
Temporary Children’s Ministry Director needed from mid-April thru May of 2012.
Applicants must be 21 years of age and Director-qualified by the Maryland Office of Child Care standards. A valid Drivers License is also required.
